We all know the proverb, “Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day. Teach him how to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.”
Some of us might know that the quote came from Lao Tzu, the founder of Taoism. And you might even know that the quote dates back to sometime between the 4th and 6th centuries BC. I’d say that qualifies as timeless wisdom.
But how often did you think about this proverb when marketing your business?
If you’re like most people, not a lot. Chances are you are looking for swipe files, cheat sheets, and shortcuts. You might even be checking out competitors you admire and “borrowing” a few clever tactics.
But do you really have time to master your marketing — to learn how to fish?
Helping my clients master their marketing was one of my goals in creating The Messaging Assessment Workbook. Rather than ineffective quick fixes, I wanted to help business owners ask the right questions to themselves and their teams in order to create marketing that bring lasting change.
This workbook will walk you through nailing your purpose, audience, voice, and story. You can download it here => https://www.thebestwordswin.com/messagingselfassessment
Here's to your success! 🥂
